Itrigue The Globe and Mail has published a good review of the Creative I-Trigue 3400 computer speakers.  While not exactly mobile tech the point of interest for me is the ability with the 3400s to connect a portable music player and play through the speakers with the computer off.  If you’re interested in good speakers at a reasonable price check out the review.  Here’s the lowdown from the review:

    • The Good: Lots of bass, clear highs; handy wired remote with volume and subwoofer control; remote has headphone jack and a direct input for things like portable music players; funky styling; compact satellites.
    • The Bad: Lacks slightly in its midrange response; no quick-mute or treble adjustment on wired remote.
    • The Verdict: A great looking set of desktop speakers that’s tailor-made for gaming.
