Virgin is set to have the new Boomtube EX portable speakers for shipping which coaxes a whopping 40 watts of sound from your MP3 player, portable computer or other device. Connection is with a simple 3.5mm jack so it is universally useful and the unique tube design lets you screw on the speakers for simple transport. Rechargable battery will net you 10 hours of listening pleasure. Not cheap at $199.95 but when you have to feel the music, you have to feel it.

Anyone know where I can buy a Virgin Boomtube Ex?

I saw one on display at Fry’s in Atlanta a few months back. I’m not sure if it was a Virigin branded Boomtube, but it was a Boomtube brand (the name struck me as I walked by it).
