Google Suggest beta no go on Smartphones

It is not surprising but the new beta tool Google Suggest does not yet work on the Smartphone browser.  It is unfortunate as mobile devices are always the ones that benefit most from auto-complete features so hopefully Google can find a way to make it work.

Google Suggest is a utility that suggests a group of words with each letter that you type in the search box.  It works pretty well and is surprising in the accuracy it displays when you start entering in search terms.
