Vskype_consumer_betaAnother video plugin for Skype has gone into beta this week with the introduction of vSkype.  vSkype lets you use any video webcam to conduct video phone calls over the free Skype network.  What sets vSkype apart from other plugins I’ve seen is the ability to share displayed data, including the entire desktop, with your caller.  This could have applications in supporting your friends and family’s computers remotely.  Up to 8 video windows can be open at once for true video conference calling.  The download is free and the company promises no Spyware, Adware nor Malware in the download.
