I got an email from Toshiba yesterday offering me 20% off one of their convertibles making it $999.

Is it something in the water?

And was that a Motion LE1600 in a bump case I saw being used as an alien bomb detector on this past Friday’s episode of Stargate SG-1? I guess tablets are now cheap enough Hollywood can afford them. :-)
