Seagate is now producing a 160 GB portable hard drive based on perpendicular storage technology. The storage capacity of the new 2.5 inch drive makes it a perfect solution for carrying massive amounts of multimedia content such as audio and video. The Seagate 160 GB Portable Hard Drive weighs less than a pound and should be available in February for $379.
