Spb Softwarehouse has released a new backup solution for Windows Mobile devices. Spb Backup has an intuitive user interface and offers full, partial, and scheduled backups for any Windows Mobile device running Windows Mobile 2002 and later (including Windows Mobile 5). I am using it to back up my Treo 700w running Windows Mobile 5.0 and it is just great. It’s nice to have another option for Pocket PC backups. Good job, Spb! There is a demo version available that lasts for 5 runs and the full version is $19.95.

  • I’ve been trying SPB backup. It works just fine manually, but had some issues with the automatic backups. I get an error that the engine is refusing to run.

I’ll fiddle with it some more and see if I can figure out what’s wrong.
