One of the longest running gadget sites, The Gadgeteer, has published a guest review of the Toshiba M200 Tablet PC.  While the M200 has been around for a good while, the review is interesting as it is written from the perspective of a student using a Tablet PC for the first time.  It is always refreshing to see reviews like this and I got a kick out of it.

Toshibam2009I hate to overuse a buzzword, but the write-on screen really does provide a paradigm shift for using the M200. My major goal was annotating on the page, and via a circuitous route (involving Adobe Acrobat) I can annotate on my actual texts in OneNote. These notes can either be recognized, or left as handwriting. I’m still feeling my way around the best gains for changing note-taking; but many people are trying to go completely paperless. This is highly appealing!
