Anyone who owns one of these needs to contact Belkin for an adapter- there is a known issue with this unit frying your Roady XT- 1-800-223-5546

This Belkin’s F5X007 XM Boombox, seems to have some nice features, but it looks like its made by Fisher Price.

Dave Z: my Highlander has a cassette deck, so I use the better connection of the cassette adapter. I’ll try the FM transmitter and let you know.

Dave C: minixm.com would work fine for a single listener, but my goal is to have XM on a bigger sounding device for multiple listeners.

I’m guessing the built-in antenna and included remote probably offset any perceived butt-ugliness. I hope Altec Lansing doesn’t ask for my speakers back since I did such a fine job of selling the competition.

Have you noticed any difference in the car? The Roady XT FM transmitter seems much more powerful than the Roady2.
