All aboard Amtrak’s new mobile-friendly website
Amtrak joined the mobile revolution years ago, but they only recently joined the mobile technology revolution. If you hit their main site with a PDA, you’ll be treated to a friendly mobile browser view thanks to LIFT Mobile technologies provided by UsableNet. The main screen is clean and simple, while providing you access to what you likely need most: train status and reservations. Need a ticket to New York City on June 19th to meet a trio of mobile technology podcasters? Not a problem on your PDA, Smartphone or Blackberry.
Here’s a question for you: would you be more likely to purchase services from a company that provides a usable web-interface for your mobile device or would that have no influence on your purchasing decision?

Speaking of mobile, devices, I have a quick question for you. What software did you use to partition the Q1 to try out the Vista OS? Also, what backup utility do you recomend for creating a mirror image of the internal drive for safe keeping?
