Google is a verb, what about inking?

Yes, Merriam-Webster has added Google as a verb which shows how prevalent the Google search engine has become with web users but there’s one thing I’d like to see added as well.  I think it’s about time to see a definition added to the verb INK and INKING:

To handwrite data on a personal computer using a digital pen.

  • You’re kidding, right? ;-)

Search for “inking” on Google and the first page of search results appears to have no reference to a page related writing with a digital pen on a computer. Maybe start with updating the Wikipedia page for Inking first, before expecting the Webster folks to pick up on this “niche” term :)

  • Inking ! That’s a new fonction in the free Foxit PDF Reader 2.0 Beta available. Just one light and quick exe file.

Write, Draw, annotate… with some tools availables in this version.

So Inking is pefect for next release of Merriam-Webster !
