Acer has just released the Aspire 9800, a powerhouse multimedia center notebook with a 20.1 inch widescreen high definition screen.  Yes, I said 20.1 inch screen!  The 9800 is designed from the ground up to deliver media by leveraging top of the line NVIDIA graphics along with a digital/analog hybrid TV tuner and HD-DVD technology that supports 13 types of optical media formats.  Acer puts a Core Duo processor with up to 4 GB of memory in the Aspire 9800 and Acer’s included QuicCharge technology can charge the battery up to 80% in less than an hour.  I have a feeling you will be using that charger a lot as battery life should be abysmal but let’s face it if you are buying a notebook with a 20.1" screen you’re not exactly looking for portability.  Prices start at $2799.
