Pulsar590I love my Plantronics USB headset but I sometimes wish I could cut the cord and go Bluetooth.  In the past that has meant giving up on audio quality but the soon-to-be-released Plantronics Pulsar 590E Bluetooth Headset may change all that.  The 590E can seamlessly switch between phone calls and music listening so just put your music files on your Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone and you’re all set.  They do look pretty dorky but maybe around the house they’d be fine.  Take a look at these features:

  • High fidelity stereo sound for superior audio performance
  • Up to 12 hours talk time and up to 10 hours audio listening time
  • Seamlessly switch between calls and music listening
  • Telescoping voice tube provides clear calls and discreet conversations
  • Foldable headset design for convenient travel and compact storage
  • Adjustable headband and pillow-soft ear cushions for superior fit and wearing comfort
  • Dedicated buttons allow call and music control functions directly from the headset
  • For use with your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone utilizing the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP)

The Pulsar 590E should be out soon for $140.

  • I have the 590A, which is the same thing (only change I see is more battery life with this one), and it is amazing. I love it. Jenneth (jenneth.info) has posted about it and is a big fan as well.
