Frucall: price checking on the go
Did you ever go shopping only to stare a potential purchase and wonder: Is this a good deal? Can I do better on-line? Next time you do, call Frucall at 1-888-DO-FRUCALL on your mobile phone. You’ll be prompted for the barcode of the item in question and you’ll get the lowest on-line price and merchant for that item.
Thinking outside the box for a second, I saw that you could do price checks right on the Frucall site so I hit it up on Internet Explorer Mobile. Although the page isn’t mobile browser friendly, you can surf for the best price too. Now if we could use our camera phones to snap a pic of the barcode and send it off, that would be sweet.

Also, you may want to try using Google’s SMS search feature.
I’ve done this when out and about. You simply text something like ‘price Lenovo T60′ and you get a Froogle result in a return SMS. The number you text to is GOOGL, or 46645.
Of course, this gives you the lowest prices, which may or may not be useful since I think people try to spam Froogle, but..
