Qtopia Greenphone is Linux-based, the market leader for smartphones?
You won’t get one of these Qtopia Greenphones unless you’re a developer and want to code a smartphone app, but this SDK-extra is pretty solid. The Greenphone is a working GSM/GPRS unit with all of the typical bells and whistles: 1.3 megapixel shooter, SD slot and touchscreen; all built within the Qtopia platform. Surprisingly to me, there’s a claim that Linux-based smartphones are the actual market leader, with Symbian coming in at number two. Do Linux-based smartphones actually control 22% of this market?

Strange claim. I though HTC had 70% of the smartphone market and thats WIndows Mobile!
Steve.
I am sure Nokia would dispute that 70% claim from/for HTC.
