Sync your Nokia 770 and Outlook with DejaDesktop from CompanionLink

dejadesktop.jpgIf CompanionLink sounds familiar, it’s likely due to their software that synchs your Google Calendar with a mobile device. Apparently, they won’t be satisfied until the entire world is in synch; take their new DejaDesktop software for example.

DejaDesktop has both a PIM component and a synchronization function for the Nokia 770. DejaPIM is a contact, task and note manager, while DejaLink sits on a desktop so you can synch with a 770 Internet Tablet. The pricing isn’t quite clear to me; the Press Release indicates that DejaDesktop is free of charge, but a wireless DejaLink service is $9.95 a month. A quick check of the product page shows the cost to be $4.95 a month, but in either case, there’s a free 14-day trial for Nokia 770 owners. Regardless of price, the application looks pretty slick and usable on the 770; you can check out the full press release here.
