Newspaper content on the iRex iLiad
I love it when people extend devices. MobileRead has a short bit on some folks using their iRex iLiad eBook reader to read newspaper articles. The thing is: those newspapers aren’t in a format used the iLiad, so a third-party solution is used to transfer the newspaper content from a PDF file to an XML-based file format that the iLiad can read. Actually, it displays the content in format that YOU can read, but you know what I mean. Nice work and it reminds me I have to get some more playtime with the Times Reader: it’s a killer app for a UMPC or Tablet PC.
