Palm patches Sprint Treo 700wx for chatty-patty’s
Sprint Treo 700wx users can now pepper their Verizon and T-Mobile friends with text messages thanks to a patch available on the Palm website. In what Sprint claims to be an oversight, the Treo 700wx was only able to send SMS communiction to other Sprint customers. Sure, I would have tested the "in network SMS" functionality too, but I surely wouldn’t have skipped the "SMS to other networks" test!
If you have a Sprint Treo 700wx with software version 1.13, you might want to download the 165 Kb CAB file before all you’re left with is friends on your own network!
