Fox news discovers unboxing videos- JK interview online
I told you last week how the Fox 26 news team visited Mobile Tech Manor and shot an interview about the rising phenomenon of unboxing videos. The segment aired this morning on their morning news show (I missed it) and it’s now been posted on their web site. It’s pretty funny to see how the anchors think that the image of a bunch of geeks watching other geeks open geek toys is so funny.

/immature comment: The video seemed very focused on your crotch, which was capped off with a nice “That’s the money shot, right there.” I couldn’t help but laugh.
Wow! It’s bad enough that I enjoy unboxing videos of products that I’m interested in. NOW, I’m watching a video ABOUT unboxing videos. How geeky is THAT! LOL Good press for JKOTR. I guess more people at Big Oil Co now know about the secret life of James Kendrick.

Jon, unfortunately the UX had to go back to Dynamism a long, long time ago.
Yeah, I’m one of the ones who just dosn’t get unboxing. As I wrote about on Ultranauts (http://www.ultranauts.com/umpc/p,319/) awhile back, I generally couldn’t care less about a product’s packaging, I just want to use it.
