Get Vista’s Start menu in XP for free

Vista_start_emulatorNot ready for a big Vista upgrade next month when the new operating system becomes available to consumers? Still want some Vista "look and feel" in XP to tide you over? No problem thanks to the Vista Start menu Emulator that Digital Inspiration points out.

This free download will give your XP Start menu a face-lift with the Vista Start Orb and navigation. The "emulator" actually will sit on top of your existing Start button and while you won’t have all of the Vista menu features, you can get yourself used to a smart part of Vista now. Check out the project’s screenshots from XP: with the Vista wallpaper and Start menu application, you’d swear this was Vista!
