100 GB drive coming to Kohjinsha SA-1

Sa1_100_gbWhile searching for info on any Kohjinsha SA-1 touchscreen developments, Pocketables found that the SA-1 is now available with a 100 GB hard drive. The prior models offered 80 GB of storage capacity, which is still quite sizable for a small handheld computer. Unfortunately, there’s no other change in the specifications: no upgraded AMD Geode, no increase over the existing 512 MB of RAM and no touchscreen just yet. Jenn figures the converted price to be around $832, which is just shy of some current touchscreen UMPCs, which of course don’t have the integrated keyboard found in the SA-1.

  • You can easily upgrade to 1gb ram. I have one and it takes standard DDR ram. Also, I believe it takes a standard 2.5 inch hard drive as well.
