In the wild and clocking buses: Nokia N95’s

Nokia_n95No UPS or FedEx trucks at my house today, but some other lucky folks had a visit and received Nokia N95 devices here in the US. tnkgrl has the obligatory unboxing pictures on her site: the device simply looks amazing. She also included the back of the box if you missed out on any of the specifications or features and I especially appreciate the comparison pics next to the Cingular Blackjack and other smartphones.

Matt Miller has an early writeup and a picture gallery as well; his initial impressions are mainly positive and the signal strength appears to be the best that Matt has seen from his many phones. He’s not resting after the first day with the Nokia N95 either as I read his most recent Twitter posting: "Checking out the bus driver’s speed with the N95 GPS radio." C’mon Matt, can’t you just ride the bus like everyone else? ;)

  • Kevin I always enjoy JkotR writeups but even more so when they are directly relevant to me.

I just got off the phone from reserving my N95 at our local T-Mobile store and am collecting it after work, when I checked in and saw your post! Brilliant, some light reading to psyche me up before I go to collect the phone.

We are out tomorrow but over this holiday weekend I will definitely look at some unboxing shots/video even for my blog.

    Cheers

    Phil
