First Core 2 Duo equipped UMPC coming

This one kind of flew under the radar, probably because it doesn’t look like much.  OK, couple that with the fact that I’ve never heard of Haier (isn’t that a brand of ice cream?) and I admit I missed it.  The Haier X6 looks like the Medion RIM but it’s deceptive as it hides a Core 2 Duo processor inside according to engadget.  How it can handle that heat is beyond me, especially when you throw in multiple radios and a GPS unit.  The price of $1,165 tells me that someone is pulling our leg because there’s no way you can make one of these with a Core 2 Duo processor for that low price.  One can dream, though.
