Geekapalooza #4- let the contest continue!
We are having a blast with the Geekapalooza contests here on jkOnTheRun. The contests are in celebration of serving our 6 millionth page view (now long past) and so far we’ve given away a copy of Microsoft Vista Ultimate, a Samsung i320 smartphone (unlocked) and an i-mate JAQ3 smartphone (unlocked). It’s time to crank up contest #4 and this time you’re playing for a sweet Verizon LG Chocolate phone. Since it was donated by Verizon Wireless (thanks Verizon!) you need to be a US resident and in a location served by Verizon Wireless to use the phone. The Chocolate phone is really sweet and has the following features:
- All Digital Phone
- 1.3 Megapixel Camera/Camcorder
- Bluetooth Capable
- microSD Memory Port
- V CAST Music
- V CAST Video
- Music Player (supports MP3 and WMA formats)
- Send vCard to another Bluetooth Capable Device
- VZ Navigator Capable
- Touch Sensitive Navigation Keys
- Built–in Music Player with Customizable Player Themes
- Bluetooth Stereo Headset Support for Listening to Music
- Speaker–Independent Voice Recognition
OK, enough about this cool prize, here’s what you have to do to win it. As you’ve seen from the first three contests, jkOnTheRun is fortunate to have seen some of our articles recognized by Slashdot and we’ve also had them recognized by Wikipedia. Here’s what you need to do to win this phone:
Provide the links for all Wikipedia articles that reference a jkOnTheRun article, briefly explain what the link is for, and put all that in a comment on this post. Since this one is pretty easy we will leave the contest open until midnight 09 May, Wednesday night (CDT) and then randomly select the winner from all correct answers. Get your answers in and have your shot at this cool phone from Verizon. Big shout out to Verizon for sponsoring our little contest here.
