Starbucks- no más de música del salsa, por favor

Starbucks started selling a CD of salsa music a while back and now it seems like every time I go into any Starbucks all I hear is loud salsa music.  I can’t get away from it and it’s driving me nuts.  There’s nothing wrong with salsa so don’t get upset, it’s just not the type of music conducive to productive work sessions.  So please, Starbucks, no más de música del salsa por favor.  Gracias.

James, you don’t think Starbucks is trying to tell you business types something do you? 7-11 found that playing classical music helped “move on” folks that were tending to keep away their core clientele. ;-)

  • Alberto says:

No mas musica Salsa (no more salsa music)
Apaguen la musica Salsa (Turn off the salsa music)

Wow James, it´s nice to see you “speaking” Spanish! That’s probably thanks to be exposed to that much of salsa music!

  • gonzalo says:

Impressive, you even got the accents right.

  • Ctitanic, no, it’s from living in Venezuela for 6 years.

Did you ever get to experience Office or even XP in spanish?

  • Jose says:

James, you have shaked your Spanish speaking followers ;) I agree with you, I was fed up with Salsa after my honeymoon in Domenican Rep.

Just get some nice earplug type phones and you can block out the salsa and substitute some actual music. ;)

I like the Shure phones a lot myself, but Etymotic Research makes great stuff too…
