FoneLink: synch & more between Macs and Nokias

Fonelink
FoneLink from Nova Media bridges your Nokia S60 phone with your Mac; not just for PIM synching, but for media conversion as well. I have a Mac but no Nokia phone (can anyone at Nokia help a mobile brother out?), so you’ll have to rely on Darla Mack for this one. According to Darla, FoneLink can:

  • Transfer & convert your music, photos, videos and more to and from your mobile phone
  • Backup and restore your data.
  • Sync your contacts and calendar, both ways
  • Browse your entire phone & memory card
  • Create smart folders for easy drag and & drop of file types (amazing!!!)
  • View and edit internet book marks and notes
  • View SMS messages on your mobile and store them to your computer
  • Create ringtones

Sounds like Windows Mobile Device Center on steroids for a Mac. At nearly 26 Euros for a license, the price might sound steep at first, but I think this feature set supports it. There’s a bunch of compatible Nokia handsets, plus a few from Moto and Sony-Ericsson.
