iContact: scroll through contacts like the iPhone

I haven’t tried iContact because I use the T-Mobile Dash as my primary phone and it doesn’t have a touchscreen. If you’re game after watching the above video however, you can pick up iContact right here for your touchscreen handheld and fluidly scroll through your contacts like we’ve seen on the Apple iPhone and the HTC Touch. Don’t be misled by the video which has an iPhone-like skin on the Today screen: iContact is simply an add-on that provides a cool way to scroll through your contacts.

  • Kevin-

Don’t forget, there’s a whole world of Palm touchscreen phone guys out here. This cool software seems to be Windows Mobile only. In fact, I’d bet there are three times as many Palm touchscreen phones out there as Microsoft phones. Maybe more.

  • Well, for those of us with an HTC device like the Dopod 838 pro, we have a scroll wheel that is very efficient at doing just that : scroll. No need for that application. But I can see how some with an 02 or any other device where you can’t scroll (what a pain, seriously) would want this.

  • “Oooh, cool idea. Let’s copy it.” Seriously pathetic mindset.
