Is eBay ready for the iPhone?

That’s the basic question Jeremy Toeman just asked me over IM. I gave him a quote which he’s added to an insightful prediction post over at LiveDigitally. Among Jeremy’s thoughts:

AT&T won’t have the expected inventory of 3 million iPhones.
Sellouts at metro retailers in less than 30 minutes.
Hype won’t meet the expectations.

I cant wait for it to suck. Well to be fair its going to be a decent device. Compared to the hype, it’s going to suck.

Lol, I also cannot wait for it to suck. Completely overhyped for a subpar media player with a phone. It will be similar to the saps who paid thousands for the Playstation 3 only to find that it wasn’t any better than the xbox and there were no games for it.
