Here I thought it was just the summer equinox here yesterday; no, this time of the year is clearly summer sync season because we’ve got yet another synchronization program announced. Laplink just released PDASync 4 which works for Palm OS and Windows Mobile devices. Unlike ActiveSync, which is limited in terms of what platforms it synchs with, namely one, PDASync 4 works with ACT!, Outlook, Lotus Notes, Lotus Organizer and even Novell GroupWise. You’ll pay for the cross-platform mojo thought, $49.95 to be precise. Still, if you have too many headaches with the free ActiveSync / WMDC or you need to sync with a non-Microsoft application, this is worth the look. Hit the free trial and see how it works for you.
