One thing to watch out for is how FolderShare affects your battery life on mobile devices. I found that when it running it was continuously polling my hard-drive which would prevent it from spinning down. Now, on my Q1 I only start it when I need to sync up, and shut it down otherwise.

To be honest, polling for file changes is poor programming. There are events for that kind of thing.

While this might work to sync the profile info for Opera too (which would be quite cool for synching my browsers between home and work) I’m not wild about the fact that it is a server based service and that the EULA states that they “may look at what file names and sizes” I share. It also says they won’t look at file contents… but how big a step can it be?
