Fujitsusiemensesprimomobileu9200The Santa Rosa Express train continues: today it’s Fujitsu-Siemens with a new four pounder, the ESPRIMO Mobile U9200. At first I thought it was the ESKIMO with a name like that, but we’ll see how cool this runs with configuration options ranging from an Intel Celeron all the way to a coal-burnin’ Core 2 Duo at 2.4 GHz with 6 hours of standard battery life. The ESPRIMO offers the same 12.1-inch screen size and 1280 x 800 resolution as the Gateway E-155C I’m currently testing, but alas, no TABLET-O for the ESPRIMO. It’s not your standard notebook however, as it offers an integrated 1.3-megapixel camera and a SIM card slot for the HSDPA flavor of 3G. 802.11n support is another option in this laptop that should become available in late summer, early fall.
