HP 2710p Tablet PC pricing available, shipping this week

Hp_2910p_tablet_pcWe knew about the new HP 2710p Tablet back in May: we saw the options and the specs, but we had to wait until today for the price and shipping info. If you hop over to the 2710p product page, you’ll see this 3.6-pound convertible start at $1,649 and topping out at $2,478 for the pre-configured models. You’ve got a choice of operating systems between Vista Business 32- or 64-bit, XP Tablet Edition or FreeDOS. Up to 4 GB of RAM is available in the the two SODIMM slots, although that’s an add-on as all of the pre-configured choices are either one or two GB of RAM. Don’t miss the compatible accessories: I like the 65W AC/Auto/Airplane charger for $119. Looks like you can add one of these to your cart and have it shipped later this week.

the HP Compaq 2710p have a much weaker processor(Core™2 Duo ULV processor U7600 @ 1.20 GHz) than what had the HP Compaq tc4400 (Processor Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T7200 @ 2GHZ). Its a shame, everything in this tablet appeals to me… I have been waiting for it months ago to finnaly be disapointed by something silly as a weak processor (T_T). truly a shame.
{2GHZ core 2 duo is a must have for my business needs, or every vista user needs}.
Ill buy a camera less tablet then…..
