iPhone’s kinetic scrolling comes to the Nokia N800

The kinetic scrolling feature present on the iPhone isn’t just a way to simulate a slot machine with your data, it’s a quick method to zip through lists, scroll through e-mails and surf the web. We already saw the iPhone keyboard created for the N800 (although I find the native one very good) and now a 28-year old developer has the scrolling down pat too. Check Kenneth Christiansen’s video demo as it shows off his work quite nicely; no scroll bars makes for more usable display space, so the more interfaces with this approach, the better. Perhaps we’ll see the Flicks in Vista get the kinetic treatment next?
