I am a big fan of notebook sleeves that can protect my precious cargo while keeping the package nice and light.  I was just informed by the folks at 10turio that they have a new stylish line of sleeves available.  These things look pretty cool, almost like a parachute, and come in a garden variety of colors for the fashion conscious.  19 – 22 euros.

  • Hmm. The term “garden variety” usually refers to something ordinary and unremarkable (i.e. something no more noteworthy than the vegetables in your garden). Though they’re not spectacular, I don’t think I’d call these colors garden variety. I think they’re very eye-catching.

  • You’re right, poor choice of words. I was thinking more along the lines of colors you would see in a garden, thus garden variety. Good catch.

  • Well, hey, maybe you’ll coin a new usage. ;) The colors are, indeed, garden-esque.

  • I’ve “stumbled” with their material in a local shop and went online to take a look …

    http://www.be-ez.com
    (pronounced “be easy”)

it’s Mac centered … but you can use it with your regular PC.

some of the models are quite “girlsh” but … :)

(some of the PSP and iPod material looks great to keep cables out of the way in the bag … even if their creator wasn´t thinking using then like that, eheheheheh)
