And who says it wasn't designed by HTC? People have been pointing to phones that have similar fascias. They could have simply customized one for Palm with the guts being standard HTC boilerplate. I wouldn't be surprised.

Oliver, nothing wrong with the Palm or the Palm branding. What I meant was: if you didn't see the Palm branding on the device, you might think the device was designed by another company like HTC...

Doesn't look nearly as bad as everyone said (feared).

Doesn't make me want to return to the Palm fold (too much WinMo 6 love) but it is still a solid offering nonetheless.

This is exactly what I have been looking for. I like the Palm OS. It has plenty of programs and developers. I lke sprint because of the cheep data rates. I like the fact that you can use USB Modem on Linux, MAC, and Windows for a great mobile solution. I like the color scheme because i have black and silver computer. Also the the new iMacs are black and silver.

Kevin, what exactly is wrong with the Palm branding?

As for the OS, well, my 700p is (after the MR) now finally stable, my coworker's 700wx is still rebooting/freezing randomly every day.
