Princeton offers a USB Bluetooth 2.0 stub

Princetonbluetooth_usb"Stub" is the only word that comes to mind when I see this USB Bluetooth module from Princeton. Well OK, a few other words and phrases come to mind to: easy to lose, minuscule, and squatty. Great, now I have to rewrite my post title.

For $21 next month, this is a nice addition to any mobile computer that doesn’t have integrated Bluetooth. I’d probably leave it in my device at all  times because I’d hate to misplace it. I wonder how the range is on this smaller than a shark-tooth Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR receiver? It’s likely perfect for a wireless keyboard and mouse, but you might have to stick close for wireless voice conversation or music. For just over twenty bucks, I’d probably take that gamble.

  • Wow, for $21, I’d buy a few of these for the office. We have some P1510D units without BT and we haven’t had the best of luck with compactflash BT cards. Should be pretty sweet.
