Tablet Kiosk Sahara i440D gets video and written review treatment

Saharai440dHey, who cares about $0.99 ringtones from Apple for your iPhone when you can read about and see the Tablet Kiosk Sahara i440 slate Tablet PC? [For the record: paying another buck for 30 seconds of a full song I've already paid for is underwhelming. Tsk, tsk says me.]

Andrew at The Student Tablet PC enjoyed the white i440D running Vista and used both the active and passive digitizer modes at will, depending on the task called for. The 1.8 GHz CPU appeared more than adequate for the student life. Over at Gotta Be Mobile, Warner spends twenty-minutes on camera with the black i440D providing a great walkaround and overview of this 12-inch slate. The three user-definable hardware buttons look useful, as do the multitude of ports and slots. It’s interesting to get Warner’s perspective as he’s traditionally used convertible tablets only.
