HTC Windows Mobile 6 update for the x7500

HTC has rolled out an update bringing the x7500 to Windows Mobile 6. You have to register for the HTC e-club to get it but it’s free so if your Advantage is the earlier model you will want to get this update. It’s a flash update so your data will go bye-bye so don’t be surprised. T-Mobile hasn’t released an update for the Ameo yet, once again proving how slow the carriers are to update branded devices.

From what I have read, it’s not that T-Mobile are being slow, but that they aren’t going to make an update available at all – http://dalelane.co.uk/blog/?p=184

This seems to be the case in the UK, at any rate – not sure about elsewhere

I guess those of us with the Ameo are stuck with WM5.
