One of the interesting things we watch about visitors to jkOnTheRun is what browser is being used for the access.  This lets us get a snapshot of how many people are using Firefox versus Internet Explorer.  The current statistic shows that Firefox is still gaining on IE:

Of great interest is that the 7% browser share you see in this graph is Safari.  Must be all those iPhone owners accessing jkOnTheRun.  :)

  • “Must be all those iPhone owners accessing jkonthrun” The iPhone will have LOTS of side-benefits to Apple and Mac users. Releasing Safari for Windows was smart, too.

“Firefox is gaining on IE, Safari is too”
Must have something to do with the fact that the development on IE more-or-less stopped with version 3. Yea, I know they’re still releasing piddling little “upgrades” for IE for Windows, but who really cares?

  • Meanwhile, for those of us who aren’t lemmings, there is Opera. :-D .. uh… somewhere in there. In that yellow area. Or is it the blue?

Hang on, let me fetch the magnifying glass, I’m sure you can see it with that! ;)
