Dan, our good buddy better known in these parts as Thoughtfix, is one of the most dedicated Nokia N800 enthusiasts on the planet.  His blog is a great source of continual information about the N800 and his videos are always informative and entertaining.  He’s recently put an iPod Touch in his hands and in keeping with the argument of whether the iPod Touch or N800 are computers he’s done a comparison video showing different functions of the two devices.  Happily, he didn’t put either of the devices on his coffee maker as he’s done in the past.  Check out his video, it’s a great comparison of the two cool handhelds.

  • I actually the N800 is a computer. I’m seeing videos of people running xournal and some office software and if my good old Q1 ever breaks I think I’m giving the N800 a shot.

  • I just picked up the iPhone last week for basically iPod uses, browser, check email, and the camera for quick photos. I unlocked the iPhone to be used on T-Mobile and AT&T but I don’t have any service with either, just using as iPod. I did pickup the iPod Touch for my wife and she likes the Touch. I compare the N800 and the iPhone to be very close on what they do but each has advantages over each other. For me the iPhone is much smaller and does what I need and can carry it in my back pocket.

  • Thanks for the link :) I think the iPhone would’ve been a bad comparison since the iPhone wants to be your FIRST device.
