Use a PC Card modem in an ExpressCard slot

Adexc34cb_laptopJames just bought an adapter allowing him to use ExpressCard devices in a PC Card slot, but what if you want to go the other way? Take a look at the ExpressCard CardBus adopter from Addonics that lets you use PC Card devices in an ExpressCard slot. For $69.95, you can breathe new life into an older PC Card modem, WiFi card, or other 32-bit card in your PC. Could be useful if you have a 3G PC Card modem but use a newer device with an ExpressCard slot. The downside? Since the PC Card isn’t actually in your device, but in the adapter, it’s going to stick out from your notebook. My advice: don’t swing your notebook around with one of these; you might hurt someone.
