IpodiaSteve Rubel shares a great link today: this one is for iPodia, a Mobile Safari friendly front end to Wikipedia. iPodia claims to be for the iPod Touch, but since the browsers and screen resolutions are the same between the Touch and iPhone, I tried it with expected success on my iPhone.

While online you can browse through the Wikipedia and there’s a great text search feature in iPodia to help you better target what you’re looking for. Best of all, iPodia can save the small-screen formatted Wikipedia page a data URL right on your iPhone or Touch. Simply click the save button to have a local copy generated and then bookmark that page in Safari for offline reading. I just saved the UMPC page; the process was quick and seamless.
