As promised to those who pre-ordered Leopard from Apple it is on its way with a guaranteed delivery date of today:

I am looking forward to the upgrade to see what the new UI is all about.  One thing is clear from all the early reviews and first impressions the upgrade process seems to be easy and bullet-proof.

  • My copy just left Bethlehem, PA on its way here. Came from Schaumburg, IL via Indianapolis, IN last night. I wonder how many pre-order copies they had to get out in a coordinated fashion?

  • Not quite bullet proof. If you are using Parallels or Fusion you can do yourself a favor and get the Leopard Ready versions installed before doing the upgrade to keep things smoother on that first reboot…

  • I gotta go out and snag a new external hard drive anyway, so I’m going to kick it old school and wait in line. Besides, who doesn’t like standing around in a shopping mall? (I HATE shopping malls.)
