Google Maps updated for Windows Mobile

Phone_enEeegor and I have been in the coffee shop with a painful EDGE connection, so I’m just getting caught up now that we’re home. Apparently Google Maps got an upgrade on the Windows Mobile side of the house, according to Boy Genius Report. And look, it’s a real, live boy app, not a Java applet. Google isn’t too forthcoming on the changes (or I’m looking in the wrong spot) but they say there’s contact integration and GPS functionality, which sounds awfully familiar to me from the last go-around.BGR indicates “functional route mapping and clearly marked turn-points on every loaded map”, so I’ll just have to load this up and see what’s there and what’s not. If you want to beat me to the punch, navigate here for the .CAB file or point your WinMo browser to http://www.google.com/gmm.
