Alltel Wireless brings Goo Goo Dolls for free concert in Phoenix

Alltel_logo Alltel Wireless wants to throw a big thank you to their customers in the Phoenix area and is bringing the Goo Goo Dolls to town for a free concert. The concert will be held at 5:30 pm in the Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza on Saturday, Dec. 8 and Alltel is recommending that folks get their early to be sure they can get in to what looks to be a very nice concert. Gates will open at 4 pm to get attendees inside for the concert.

To further celebrate the free concert Alltel has a deal for Phoenix area residents that can nab them a MOTOROKR Z6m for only$79.99 and will throw in 50 free songs with the additional purchase of an accessory pack for $29.99. This offer is only for new customers who sign a 2 year contract with Alltel.

This free concert is a great marketing tool for Alltel and if I was in Phoenix I would sure try to be there as I enjoy the Goo Goo Dolls.

As an Alltel customer with 11 lines, I would much rather they make an announcement like Verizon did this week. I am really wondering how the new ownership group is going to handle Alltel. Is Alltel a potential buyer or seller?
