Plaxo syncs contacts, calendar with Windows Mobile
I can’t claim to have tried this simply because I’ve shied away from Plaxo, but if you use the service, you can now sync your contacts between Plaxo and a Windows Mobile device. You’ll need this download which is based on SyncML and once installed, you can presumably get your Plaxo contacts on your handheld. This functionality is a logical next step for Plaxo since just this summer they announced two-way calendar and contact synching between many online services, desktop clients and mobile phones. Have at it and let us know how it works out. Maybe you’ll convince me to take another look at Plaxo.(via VentureBeat)

I haven’t had a great experience using Plaxo to merge my contacts. (I have the pay account.) Instead of keeping multiple numbers or emails, it has chosen just one in the past. :/ However, this could be a good way to get contacts from LinkedIn onto WinMo. Honestly, I wish LinkedIn and Facebook would share contacts and that Facebook would let me export. Then I’d like to see Apple’s fake Yahoo contact sync really sync. Am I too demanding or is it just too hard to manage all these data sources?
