There are two square keypads on the unit and they move as if they were on a small spring. Think of them as a two giant keyboard keys. You have to hit a button to switch from mouse mode to keyboard mode; looks interesting, but I’m not sure how usable yet. One nice thing: the screen is set up for panning so it’s as if you have a 10-inch screen on a 7-inch display. When in mouse mode with the two giant keypads, the screen pans. Slick implementation…

OK, that is pretty freaky. Are those real keys or is it like the “buttons” on the controls in ST:TNG — flat surface?
