I can only speak for the Eee. It worked like a charm; used it with a Verizon EV-DO USB card and plugged in to AC in the press areas to keep the battery topped off. Every one of my posts was done on the Eee. Honestly: it got attention every where I went and folks marveled over the size, light weight and of course… low price.
I wouldn’t say that it’s the best solution for everyone, however. Obviously it’s not meant for major audio / video editing and such. For my tasks, it works great… for other’s tasks, perhaps not.
