Threaded SMS, support for multiple recipients in Windows Mobile

VITO Technology released their SMS-Chat application on Windows Mobile today for all of you messaging addicts. The $14.95 application works on WinMo 5 & 6 handhelds and provides some key features like threaded chats, sending to multiple recipients, and message forwarding.Also included is a contact search filter and finger scrolling navigation. It’s times like this I wish my Dash was a touchscreen device. And clearly I need to update my SMS contacts since the folks at VITO are good buds with the entire crew of “Friends”.

Isn’t threaded SMS built into 6.1? Plus there are free versions out there taken from the Treos.

The Treo’s threaded SMS is great, and I also heard threaded SMS is coming to WinMo 6.1… whenever that might be. I wish the threaded SMS on my iphone would dump the hokey graphic bubbles and make better use of screen real estate.
