Fujitsu to JK- shipping out next week
I just got off the phone with Fujitsu since the P1620 hasn’t arrived today. They couldn’t find the order in their system so he called the "home office" and was told that since this is a leap year their computer system decided that any computer orders in February didn’t count and disappeared from their system totally. My P1620 will "absolutely, positively" ship out next Monday the 25th and arrive at Mobile Tech Manor next Wednesday the 27th. Geez I don’t know if I can wait that long.
Thats a nightmare my friend, I feel for you, I know what its like desperately awaiting a new toy and Id be gutted if that happened to me!
Oh god dude. Many a day have I spent waiting by the door for that special man to arrive. And then to see the day end with no new gadget, and then to find out that it hasn’t even shipped yet.

That story about the leap year and the disappearance of the order beggars belief. As for the unbearable waiting, 6 months from now you’ll wonder why you got into such a state. Well, that’s how it is with me anyway!

I feel yourpain, Mine is promised to ship on monday as well, instead of the 26th, instead of the 19th, instead of the 13th. Ordered on the 4th of 02.2008 At least they knocked $100 of the bill.
When my p1620 was delayed I asked what configurations they had in stock in the warehouse in Memphis TN and had them send me one of them… they overnighted it for free plus applied the 10% small business discount… was not exactly the configuration I wanted (I wanted smaller HD as I would be yanking it anyway) but at the end of the day I had my unit quickly for only $50 more than original plan.
Available at Newegg now, if you order today you will get it Thursday the latest even with cheapest shipping.
I don’t know how much you configured it but time to cancel the order and get one from newegg. Base model is $100 cheaper too!
